Highlights
This is a tour rich in scenery and a chance to enjoy this lush section of the Italian Riviera.
The tour begins around 9.30 a.m. from your hotel.
By private minivan with driver and a licensed professional english speaking guide short ride to Portofino.
Visit of this delightful resort, with narrow coloured houses, fashion shops, elegant restaurants and cafès and small churches.
You will admire masterpieces of nature, clear water of the sea and and rich vegetation, rare species of central European flora mingled with Mediterranean maquis and pines in an area designated as a nature reserve.
Once arrived to Portofino you will have a visit of the charming village, the exclusive little square, the church of S.Giorgio and free time for shopping, take pictures or relax in the cafès.
Portofino had a strategic position on the sea and was known as “Portus Delphini” – the Greeks called the native people of Liguria dolphins.
At the end of the 10th century, the English charmed by this delightful little port buried in luxurious vegetation discovered Portofino as a tourist spot.
The fame of Portofino is worldwide and its calm green waters attract the most luxurious yachts. People sit and chat at the little cafe tables set about in the small decorative square surrounded by typical frescoed houses.
The charming village of Portofino is said to be the most beautiful port on the Mediterranean.
Departure from Portofino by minivan to Sestri Levante.
Quite suddenly the lanes of Sestri Levante open into the picturesque Baia del Silenzio, the bay of silence, framed by the ancient pastel-hued houses. This is the most secluded bay, while the Baia delle Favole, the bay of fables, opens onto a wider gulf before Tigullio. This is such a beautiful place that it is no surprise that poets, from Goethe to Byron, have sung its praises.
Lunch at your leisure in Sestri Levante: your guide will be able to suggest you very good restaurants with local specialties.
Riding back you'll notice that it's ideally situated in the Tigullio Gulf, Rapallo enjoys a mild climate and draws an international array of visitors.
During the visit you’ll be shown the Oratory of the Black, adorned with black and white marble dating back to 16th century.
By Minivan you’ll reach Santa Margherita Ligure.
Visit of the little town and back to Hotel Miramare.

Highlights:
This is a tour rich in scenery and a chance to enjoy this lush section of the Italian Riviera.
The Cinque Terre consists of five small villages (“Cinque terre” means “five lands” in Italian) Riomaggiore Manarola Corniglia Vernazza and Monterosso: they are considered to be the epitome of
nature and where wild scents abound.
The Cinque terre are a combination of wild coastline and rugged mountain, part of the UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
The scenery from above Riomaggiore is breathtaking.
Once left the car and driver at the top of the village your tour will start with a walking tour.
The tour continues onto the famous "Via dell'Amore" (Walk of of Love) a romantic, easy and flat trail carved along the cliffs that offers spectacular views over the coastline, and connects Riomaggiore to Manarola .
At each step the scenery, the rock formations, the vegetation and colours change completely.
Manarola is possibly the most photogenic of the five town, it’s composed by an myriad of alleys which go all around it and walking along toward the point of the promontory will allow you to have the most breathtaking view of it.
The visit will continue using either a local train or ferry boat to Vernazza.
Lunch is at your leisure in one of the very good local restaurants.
Local Specialties : Pasta with Pesto sauce, seafood, fresh vegetables and good local wines.
Then take a train or ferry boat which ride along the Cinque Terre coastline between Vernazza and Monterosso.
Arrival in Monterosso and visit of the village.
It is therefore possible to enjoy the splendor of the Italian Riviera in these two towns. Here, one can enjoy the Ligurian cuisine and wine, while also immersing oneself in the towns' traditions.
Return to Hotel Miramare by minivan .
